Summer Chess Camp
June 20 - 24 2011

Daily: 8:30 am -3:30 pm.

All levels welcome, beginners to advanced, ages 5- 12 years old.

Have fun and challenge learning and playing chess!

Groups will be divided by skill level;

If your child doesn’t know how to play chess – our camp is the best place to start! Kids will learn moves and rules during the camp;

Classes on Opening Theory, Strategies, Middlegame and Endgame studies, and Solving Puzzles;

Bughouse Games, tournaments;

Awards include Trophies, Medals, and Certificates- Everyone’s a winner!

Sample Schedule:

8:30-9:00 Student Drop Off and practice play

9:00-9:30 Practice Games and Chess Puzzles Challenge 

9:30-11:00 Strategy classes

11:00-12:00 Lunch and Play outside

12:00- 3:00 Playing games and tournaments, chess strategy classes

3:00- 3:30 Students’ Pickup

Students will have several short breaks during the day.
